Description

Combigan (generic name: Brimonidine/Timolol) is an ophthalmic solution (eye drops).

Combigan is an eye medication that is proven to lower elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with glaucoma who require additional or adjunctive IOP-lowering therapy. Abnormally high IOP is the only risk factor that can be treated to prevent glaucomatous vision loss.

Combigan is specifically prescribed to lower pressure in the eyes of people with primary open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension (both conditions involve elevated pressure in the eye).

Combigan eye drops lower the pressure in the eye by decreasing the fluid produced and helping the flow of fluid out of the eye chamber.
